Employment opportunities.

RN Supervisor

You will be responsible for assuming authority of organizing and directing the unit’s activities on a specific shift. You will provide leadership and direction to staff as well as provide hands on assistance to staff in the areas of completing assessments, passing meds, assisting with admissions, and caring for residents as needed. You will establish priorities and oversee communications with families, interdisciplinary teams, and staff as needed. You will coordinate a project to include data collection, weekly and monthly reporting to QI committee, monitor documentation and be clinical resource in specific area. Position participates on weekend on-call rotation once a month. Opportunities on Day and Night Shifts.

RNs/LPNs

Responsible for working the floor of specific unit to include med pass, wound treatment, directing and coaching C.N.A.s, supporting family inquiries, completion of documentation, and ensuring safety of residents. Full-Time on Night Shift 10:45pm - 7am.

RNs/LPNs

Responsible for working the floor of specific unit to include med pass, wound treatment, admissions, directing and coaching C.N.A.s, supporting family inquiries, completion of documentation, and ensuring safety of residents. Part-Time on PM Shift 2:45pm - 11pm.

In-House Registry

As In-House Registry Staff, you are required to work a minimum of four (4) shifts per month; two during the week and two during the weekend. Ideally, you must be available on short-notice to provide coverage for call-offs as well as for scheduled time off of staff. This opportunity is open to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Preferable available on Night Shift and Weekend Coverage.

Home Care Associate with Home by Choice

Casual Status C.N.A. or Caregiver with a minimum of two years experience to provide home care services in accordance with the clients care plan. Provides companionship and personal care in the areas of preparing meals, cleaning, bathing, medication reminders, and range of motion, walking and meeting other needs as identified. Must have strong communication, and organizational skills, and able to meet physical requirements of the position. Must have a valid Illinois State Driver’s License, along with a good driving record.

Internships.

The Fairview internship program is a 12-week opportunity that will present you with a variety of training and development experiences. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in critical areas of the manager’s role. We currently have intern opportunities in Human Resources, Marketing, Organizational Development (non-paid), Dining Services, and Life Enrichment. We are looking for senior-level students who are currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program at a college or university, preferably working toward a degree. Must have strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to respond to changing demands is required. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
